Erection Problems
An erection problem is the inability to get or maintain an erection that is firm enough for a man to have intercourse. You may be unable to get an erection at all, or you may lose the erection during intercourse before you are ready. If the condition persists, the medical term is erectile dysfunction.
Erection problem are common in adult men. In fact, almost all men experience occasional difficulty getting or maintaining an erection. In many cases, it is a temporary condition that will go away with little or no treatment. In other cases, it can be an ongoing erection problem that can damage a man's self esteem and harm his relationship with his partner, and thus requires treatment. If you have difficulty having or keeping an erection more than 25% of the time, it is considered a problem. In the past, erection problem were thought to be "all in the man's mind." Men often were given unhelpful advice such as "don't worry" or "just relax and it will take care of itself." Today, doctors believe that when the problem is not temporary or does not go away on its own, physical factors are often the cause.
MORE than one quarter of Australian men have erection problems, a major scientific survey suggests. While most prevalent in older men, the disorder is also relatively common among men in their 20s. The vast majority suffer in silence and do not see a doctor or other health worker to look for treatments for erection problems such as Advanced Medical Institute (AMI). The researchers surveyed 1,500 Australian men aged 20 or older who were randomly selected from the electoral roll.
One very secretive and touchy area of male health is erection problem, where men of all ages have trouble gaining or keeping an erection. This supposed “loss of manhood” and sexual identity can knock men’s confidence and have bad effects upon themselves and their partners. More than 150 million men around the world and some 1.5 million men in Australia have erection problems and yet, experts say, it is not necessarily a sexual problem.
Major causes of erection problem include smoking, alcohol or drug use and a lack of exercise, and recent research is suggesting that natural alternatives to drugs like Advanced Medical Institute (AMI) - such as pelvic floor exercises - can be just as effective. Men suffering from erection problems should talk to the doctors at Advanced Medical Institute (AMI) about the matter.
